The
Commodore Amiga 500 was the best computer to ever hit the home micro scene. It was sleek, powerful, immensely popular and the platform of choice for the most talented game developers of the late 80s and early 90s. Classic games that appeared on the
Amiga include:
Shadow of the Beast,
Kick Off II,
Populous,
First Samurai,
Sensible Soccer,
Agony,
Speedball 2, Lemmings and
Another World.
Deluxe Paint, on the other hand, was a bitmap graphics editor developed by
Electronic Arts and one of the rare non-gaming killer-apps ever. Want to know why? Check
Wikipedia.
Want to get your hands on an
Amiga 500 with 1MB RAM, an extra drive and
Deluxe Paint 2? Check this
Amiga ebay.com auction. Seller ships to US/Canada and paying more than 100$ probably wouldn't be worth it.
