Released exclusively in Japan, the 3D System for the Nintendo Famicom consisted of a pair of shutter glasses (and a few cables and things) that allowed gamers to enjoy compatible games with the illusion of 3D depth -- not unlike the much better known 3D glasses for the Sega Master System.
