SNK Neo Geo Pocket Color

A wonderful, powerful, and very sleek console that got itself a decent number of excellent games, SNK's Neo Geo Pocket Color is a lovely 16-bit handheld, and another casualty of Nintendo's all dominating GameBoy series. Castle of Illusion (Genesis)

Disney's wonderful and ridiculously imaginative 16-bit platformer for the Sega Genesis, Castle of Illusion (starring Mickey Mouse!), is one of the best games on the platform regardless of genre, and probably one of the best looking offerings of the era. Atari Falcon 030

Macintosh Classic (M0420)

The wonderful and very compact Apple Macintosh Classic computer, an elegant machine with a crisp black & white monitor, is one of my favourite computers of all time. I still haven't managed to grab one, though admittedly this Mac Classic eBay auction is tempting. Four Zenobi Adventure Games for the Spectrum

Zenobi, the Balrog-powered indie developer and publisher of wonderful text adventures, is one of my dearest companies ever; it just oozes love and silly humour and whimsy and engrossing adventures. The North American NTSC version of the SNES was both boxier and more subtle in its aesthetic choices than the Japanes/European version of the console, and thus one of the most traditionally modern designs Nintendo ever produced.
