The Secret of Monkey Island (MS-DOS)

I cannot imagine anyone even vaguely interested in adventure games not having played the original Monkey Island, though I do have a feeling that only few actually own (or still own) a boxed copy of this wonderful and definitive point-and-clicker by Lucasfilm. Fantastic Worlds (Atari ST)

Compilations were the bundles of the '80s and '90s, and, admittedly, the Fantastic Worlds one was one of the very best. Apple's Apple-1 Computer

Supposing you have successfully and very recently robbed a bank, you might just want to bid on this Apple-1 Computer that made itself available on eBay. It's already passed the $50,000 mark, which is rather unsurprising, as Apple's original micro is incredibly rare. The computer (essentially a motherboard if you haven't noticed) on offer must have been purchased back in May 1977, includes the even rarer Apple-1 Cassette Board, comes with its manual, and has apparently been modified.

PC Engine SuperGrafx

The SuperGrafx by NEC was released exclusively in Japan back in 1989, and was an interesting and substantial upgrade of the original PC Engine, that managed to remain compatible with both the hardware and the software released for its predecessor. Sadly, only seven games were released exclusively for it as the console really didn't do that well. It's thus rather rare and definitely collectible.
