Radiant Silvergun

You know you want it, don't you? Well, here's a pretty tasty Radiant Silvergun for your Japanese Sega Saturn then. The game comes complete with its manual, jewel case and even a registration card. Everything seems to be in perfect condition and the seller ships worldwide. 

The Discworld Collection

The seller of this excellent Discworld Collection might be shipping worldwide, but you'll need a PAL PlayStation (PS1 to be precise) to enjoy them. Then again, grabbing one shouldn't be that difficult a task, whereas them Discworld adventures are absolutely brilliant. Discworld 1 might be ridiculously tough, but both its sequel and Discworld Noir are playable, fair, challenging and lack inventories the size of China. All games are incredibly written, sport some of the best voice overs ever and look amazing.

Commodore 64GS (CIB)

As far as failed consoles go, the Commodore 64 GS was one of the more pointless ones, but also an 8-bit games machine that has grown to become a true collector's item. To grab a fully boxed, fully working C64GS you should try this Commodore 64GS auction. It seems to be in great shape, comes with the original joystick, games cartridge, leads and manuals and happily remains a C64 without a keyboard. Seller ships only within the UK.

Neo Geo MVS & 48 games

As not everyone reading this blog is impressively rich, I'm pretty sure this Neo Geo MVS board will be deeply appreciated. It will after all provide you with relatively cheap access to those brilliant Neo Geo classics, while happily coming with two controllers and one most impressive 48-in-1 cartridge. Seller only ships to the US and Canada. 

Lovely SEGA 16-bit Bundle

Simple really; if you live in the US and care for a Sega Genesis, a boxed 32X and a Sega CD with a ton of games and accessories, you should really bid on this Sega 16-bit Bundle. Besides the consoles and the 70 -mostly boxed- games for them, you all also be getting two joypads, two joysticks, one lightgun and all the leads you should need. Oh, and among them games you'll find such gems as Sonic, Super Street Fighter II, NBA Jam TE, Sonic CD, Lunar Eternal Blue, Star Wars Arcade and Dragon's Lair.

Infocom's Seastalker (C64/C128)

Seastalker is one of the few Infocom games I haven't played at all and have thus been interested in for quite some time now. Anyway, what matters is that this lovely, boxed copy of Seastalker for the C64 (and C128) has appeared on eBay and the seller is willing to ship worldwide. The game is apparently is mint & complete condition.

Neo Geo (JPN) with controller

This Neo Geo auction might be your chance for a modestly priced Neo Geo console, provided of course you are not having a particularly unlucky week. It's the Japanese Neo Geo version mind, and only comes with a controller and them basic leads. Seems to be in really good condition too. The seller is kindly shipping worldwide.  

Frankie Goes to Hollywood (ZX Spectrum)

Denton Designs was one of the best and most imaginative development studios for the ZX Spectrum. They even managed to create a pretty fantastic and incredibly innovative game based on the songs of pop band Frankie Goes to Hollywood (remember Relax?) back in 1985. You can grab this excellent Speccy game via this Frankie Goes to Hollywood eBay auction. Seller ships worldwide. The game comes in its original box, complete with manual, game tape and a special version of Relax on tape.

One more Osborne 1

I know, I just know, that Retro Treasures readers that couldn't bid on the previous Osborne 1 computer (it was a US only thing), will be overjoyed to learn that this equally impressive Osborne 1 portable computer can be shipped worldwide. It seems to be in great shape and of course working condition, comes complete with its 763-page manual, and even sports quite a bit of software on those classic, properly floppy, floppies. 

Boxed Game Gear & Games

Interested in brand new, shiny and properly boxed SEGA handhelds? Lovely. This Sega Game Gear auction is apparently for you and even comes with 11 games, including Sonic 2, Columns and Ecco the Dolphin. Seller ships only to US addresses only, mind.

Commodore Amiga CD32 (boxed)

Time for another Amiga CD32 auction it seems, that -provided you live in Europe- should be able to get you one of Commodore's lovely 32-bit consoles, complete with its box, a controller, them necessary bits 'n' pieces and three games on two CDs. Seems the console is in excellent condition too. 

SimEarth (PC)

If you thought Spore was ambitious, wait till you try Will Wright's 1990 masterpiece SimEarth: The Living Planet. It's the ultimate and most scientifically accurate god game ever released, and I for one always considered it one of the most enjoyable interactive toys released. Oh, and you can grab a boxed copy of Sim Earth for the PC via eBay. Seller ships worldwide and everything (yes, the hefty manual too) seems to be in excellent condition.

An Atari Lynx II in an unopened box

We've discussed this before, I know, but surely everyone needs to be reminded of the simple fact that the Atari Lynx is a brilliant and rather groundbreaking handheld. It could have been even better of course -had Atari not fiddled too much with the original design- but, frankly, the Lynx II is arguably as good as it gets. You could find out by actually grabbing this particular Lynx II you know. It comes in its unopened box and is accompanied by five of the best games ever released for the console, namely Chip's Challenge, Slime World, Rygar, Warbirds and that lovely Dracula point-and-clicker. Osborne 1 (OCC 1)

The Osborne 1 might be a huge lumbering beast by today's standards, but, when it was released back in 1981, it was the first truly successful portable computer. It did after all sport a whole (tiny) monitor, a proper keyboard, disk drives and more than a few lovely switches, while weighing less than 12kg / 25 pounds. Impressive, eh? And did you know the thing was running on CP/M while providing with a pretty impressive suit of built-in software? Of course you did dears.

Happily you can bid on this Osborne 1 on eBay and hope for the best. Seller ships only within the US (it's not a stinkin' notebook you know) and will apparently be including quite a lot of software as well as games with it. Mind you, the computer comes with two disc drives and works properly.

The Tolkien Trilogy (CPC)

If you live in the UK, love text adventures, own a working CPC that can load from tape and have a thing for Tolkien and/or the Middle Earth, well, this lovely Tolkien Trilogy auction is for you. The excellent Hobbit is obviously included. 

Star Raiders (Atari 2600)

The Atari 2600 version of Star Raiders is a pretty common game, though you wont usually find it in unopened, mint condition. Got you interested? Lovely, here is a Star Raiders auction, that will get you the boxed game, the CX21 touch pad controller, the video Touch Pad Overlay and Atari First Edition Comic Book by DC Comics. Moonstone PC - NIB

Moonstone - A Hard Days Knight is a game with beautiful graphics, subtle strategy/RPG elements, excellent arcade battles and some pretty amazing and gloriously animated gory deaths. It also ranks among my favourite games of all time both for the Amiga and the PC. The game is also pretty rare these days, and this sealed, new in box Moonstone (PC) wont be that cheap to grab; it will definitely be worth it though. Seller ships worldwide.

JVC X'EYE

The JVC X'Eye is a pretty handy way to enjoy both Genesis and Sega CD games without messing with too many cables and consoles. It also is a pretty rare and expensive beast too, and that's why actually gambling on the JVC X'Eye pictured above might be a good idea. This particular console is provided as is, but there are more than a few chances to easily and cheaply restore it to its full brilliance. Seller ships only within the US.

Moon Lander (Altair 8800)

The Vintage Computer and Gaming Marketplace is my latest discovery in online retro shopping, and it's a rather excellent and very free to use place to grab/sell your vintage digital stuff. What's more, it does sport some pretty unique items too. Take this BASIC version of Moon Lander on paper tape (!) for the 1975 MITS Altair 8800 for example; it easily is one of the most ancient ways to load a game around, isn't it? And it's stored on paper. Paper. Now that's what I call retro.

Fujitsu FM Towns

If you want to play the best version of Zak McKracken ever released on the machine it was meant for, you'll simply have to grab this not particularly cheap but rather excellent FM Towns computer. Oh, and probably grab a copy of Zak McKracken too I suppose... Anyway, thing is the seller of this most beautiful retro specimen is shipping worldwide. The computer seems in perfect condition, comes complete with the original (colour) Fujitsu FM Towns monitor, mouse, keyboard, joypad, midi interface, manuals, OS and even a nice freeware CD.

Acorn Electron Starter Pack

This might be untested, but seeing an Acorn Electron Starter Pack isn't as common as, well, a standalone Electron. Might be worth a look... The micro comes in its box, complete with cassette deck, manuals, leads and software. Seller ships only to UK addresses.
