The Macintosh Portable was actually the very first portable computer by Apple and, possibly, the most impressive laptop of its era, what with its cutting-edge display, 16Mhz 16-bit processor, 40MB hard drive and price tag of $7300. This particular Mac comes with an extra megabyte of RAM, has had its logic board recapped and comes with a modem card, PSU and trackball. Though it does work and according to its seller/restorer has passed all tests, there are a few problems: the HDD cannot be accessed and sometimes floppy disks are not ejected. The original King's Quest I

When IBM commissioned King Quest for its ambitious IBM PC Jr. it never expected the adventure game series it helped spawn to outlive its ambitious attempt at a home computer, but, well, these things do happen. And the graphics adventure was indeed born. Oh, and the original version of King's Quest became a highly sought after rarity.

For an expensive chance to actually own said rarity in its even rarer complete form, you can bid on this impressive King's Quest (PC Jr.) eBay auction. The Legacy: Realm Of Terror (MS-DOS)

The Legacy: Realm Of Terror remains a unique --if relatively unknown-- adventure/RPG filled with excellent ideas, clever design and lovecraftian terrors, but also one of Microprose's most unexpected offerings. A creative person's ZX Spectrum 128

Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade (MS-DOS)

Swiftly after the launch of the incredibly successful Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade film, Lucasfilm went on and produced two Indy games: a mediocre arcade adventure and a great if underrated point-and-click adventure. They are not the most common of games, yet you can buy both of them via this Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade games eBay auction.
