Commodore Amiga 500

If you don't mind taking small risks, then this untested Amiga 500 eBay auction might just be the bargain you were looking for. The seller wouldn't apparently know where to start with the micro and thus hasn't attempted testing it, but chances are this is a fully working machine. Philips Videopac G7200

The resemblance to a home micro may be striking, but the rare Philips Videopac G7200 was never a computer. It is a Videopac G7000 (the European version of the Odyssey 2) with a built-in 9" black and white monitor; hence a console. And its absolutely lovely.

Fresh Homebrew: Atlantean

Don't think I've seen a new game for the TurboGrafx-16 and/or the PC Engine in ages, but apparently the wait was worth it. Behold Atlantean! A stunning horizontal shmup for NEC's classic power house sporting four underwater worlds, full chiptune soundtrack, parallax scrolling, bosses, bonus levels and more. The game is available on a homebrew cartridge in an appropriately hand-made case and will set you back $60 plus shipping. 

48k ZX Spectrum from 1984

Here is another chance to start your ZX Spectrum collection and, gradually, work your way to the 10,000 or so games that helped raise an 8-bit loving generation. It's a UK residents only auction and it will get you the original rubber keyed 48k Spectrum, the required cables, a joystick with its interface, the manuals, a Currys catalog (!), a newspaper review and more than a few boxed tapes.

Rebel Assault (PC)

It may not sound so incredibly ground-breaking in this day and age, but when Rebel Assault was released back when we were all way younger and more beautiful, it was simply stunning. Stunning. An interactive Star Wars movie. A technological wonder. A game even PC Zone adored and one that was never short on ambition and technical expertise.

Fresh Homebrew: Bill's Tomato Game

Addictive yet frustrating puzzler Bill's Tomato Game was released roughly two decades ago on the Amiga, but the planned, official Sega 16-bit port never materialized. Until a few years ago, that is, when a homebrew port hit eBay and high prices and promptly disappeared again.

Well, this time around you too can have a chance of owning a Sega Genesis/Megadrive cartridge of the thing if you simply hop over to this thread and order your very own, very collectible and very lovably boxed (and numbered) copy of Bill's Tomato Game for $75/$85/$90. A Working Sinclair ZX80

The nowadays rare and expensive Sinclair ZX80 was the first truly affordable European computer and, though severely underpowered, the machine that brought programming into thousands of homes. Interestingly you can now grab a working ZX80 via this excellent Sinclair ZX80 eBay auction, that will also get you the original power supply, both the 2k and 16k RAM-packs, a soldered in connection for a cassette player, the manual, two books on BASIC and the original polystyrene box.

Sega's 8-bit Mark III

As you are probably well aware of, the Sega Master System is the non-Japanese version of the Sega Mark III.
