My favourite Space Quest game of all time, the time and graphic-modes hopping Space Quest IV: Roger Wilco and the Time Rippers by Sierra, has appeared on eBay once again. X-Wing vs. TIE-Fighter (PC)

Forward looking multiplayer space combat sim X-Wing vs. TIE-Fighter by Lucasarts remains one of the finest Star Wars games ever made for the PC, and a still immersive sci-fi flying experience. Interestingly you can grab X-Wing vs. TIE-Fighter complete in its box over at eBay for an incredibly sensible $18.99. The game comes in its big box with the game CD, manual, Quick Start guide, Making Magic CD, and all sorts of leaflets.

Turbo the Tortoise (ZX Spectrum)

Released late in the ZX Spectrum's life by Codemasters, Turbo The Tortoise was a great platformer with good graphics that got itself some rather brilliant reviews. Boxed JVC X'Eye

The JVC X'Eye, an expensive and not particularly successful console combining a Sega Genesis, Sega CD and JVC Karaoke, is a highly collectible rarity these days. It also is a lovely curio from the 16-bit gaming era, and one you can bid on via this JVC X'Eye eBay auction. Majyuuou (魔獸王) for the Super Famicom

Majyuuou, the King of Demons, was released by KSS late in the Super Famicom cycle in 1995, and that surely had something to do with how beautiful this fun action Metroidvania-lite game looks. What's more, this is a relatively obscure and very rare game for Nintendo's 16-bit console, and grabbing a complete boxed copy is both expensive and difficult.

The last of the mainstream Amigas, a wonderful 32-bit Commodore Amiga 1200 complete with its manual, mouse, PSU, and a great selection of games & software has gone up for auction over at eBay. The computer is in good condition, and the bundled software includes Wordworth, the Workbench and other system disks, Deluxe Paint IV AGA, Body Blows Galactic, Oscar, and boxed copies of Monkey Island, Lemmings 2, Alien Breed, and Alien 3.

14 wonderful Infocom games

Interactive storytelling masters and creators of the feelies Infocom were not only famous for crafting some of the best and most important text adventures ever. They also knew how to box these up in beautiful, immersive game boxes packed with goodies, maps, and excellent prose. As for this Infocom collection eBay auction, well, it is a fine chance to grab 14 of said classics in one move.

ZX Interface 1 for the Spectrum

Expanding the ZX Spectrum with the ZX Interface 1 allows the micro to network itself over simple local area networks of up to 64 (!) Spectrums, adds a RS232 port, and supports up to 8 Microdrives.
