One Oric-1 Micro Computer

Released in 1983 by Tangerine Computer Systems, the Oric-1 was supposed to take on the mighty ZX Spectrum. The micro came in 16- and 48-k versions, sported proper 3-channel sound, featured an uncomfortable keyboard and a 6502A CPU. It was cheap, suffered from coour-clash and, as you may have noticed, failed to sell too well, despite being rather popular in France. Find out more about the rather obscure Oric-1 here, here and here.

To own a system you can do much worse than biding on this Oric-1 eBay auction. The computer comes complete in its original box, seems to be in excellent cosmetic condition and is fully functional. It is obviously accompanied by leads, demo tape, manual, PSU etc.

Boxed Atari 7800 & 2 Games

Atari did eventually get really close to designing a console that would help it re-assert its dominance, but, despite the 2600 compatibility, a very modest price and some great graphical capabilities, the Atari 7800 never managed to achieve such a thing. It sported horrible audio and Nintendo was already the indisputable king of the hill apparently. At least it remains a lovely console and one you can grab in essentially new condition via this Atari 7800 eBay auction.

The machine has never been used and its box has only been opened to verify the contents. Everything is there: the Atari 7800 system, manuals, cables, plastic wrapping, controllers, Pole Position II cartridge and all the paperwork. The console is accompanied by two factory sealed games: Choplifter! and Fight Night.

The Nintendo 64DD Drive

Released in 2000 as an expansion for the Nintendo 64 console, the Nintendo 64DD equipped the N64 with a re-writable medium able to store up to 256MB, a real-time clock and a standard font and audio library. It was an interesting idea, but it sold an estimated 15000 units, was only released in Japan, flopped badly, got discontinued in 2001 and is now considered rare.

To bid on one you can try this intriguing Nintendo 64DD eBay auction for a well preserved and fully working unit. Seller ships worldwide.
