Samsung DVD-N501 Nuon DVD Player

The Nuon technology, the evolution of Project X, was a brilliant idea that unfortunately failed to catch on, though a few DVD players sporting it were actually released. Nuon, you see, something the great and hairy Jeff Minter had worked on, added a ton of features to the average DVD player (zoom-in, audio-visualizers among other stuff), while also turning it into a powerful games console; a console that would actually play the best version of Tempest ever released.  

The Nuon is sadly hard to find in this time and age, and I thus wholeheartedly suggest you have a look at this Samsung DVD-N501 Nuon auction. The thing seems to be in great condition and the seller is kind enough to ship worldwide. Mind you, the DVD-N501 was one of the two models released in North America. Oh, and should you grab it, do give Tempest 3000 a search.

The King of Fighters 2002 (AES)

Sun SPARCstation 4

It was only when Blake of the excellent BYTEcellar twitted about this pretty brilliant SPARCstation 4 auction, that I actually realized a SPARCstation is nowadays considered retro. Time does indeed fly, doesn't it? This exotic machine is older than a Dreamcast and I do feel so very old... Then again, bidding on this vintage power-user's dream should make you feel much better. Mind you, the auction is for the computer only, which does come with 160MB of RAM and NeXTstep v.3.3 pre-installled. Seller ships only within the US. 

TRS-80 Color Computer 2

The TRS-80 Color Computer 2, a micro more commonly known as the CoCo 2, was a rather stylish redesign of the first CoCo and you can find out more about it here and here. Provided you are a US resident you can also grab a lovely CoCo 2 bundle via this pretty amazing TRS-80 auction. The micro has been expanded to 64k of RAM and comes in its original box. You'll also be getting the manuals, brochure, cables, joystick and more than a few games, software packages and cartridges. Oh, and I guess you'd rather hurry... 

Amiga 1200: the DD bundle

We are all quite aware of the fact that the Commodore A1200 was a brilliant 32-bit computer that really excelled at both gaming and graphics design. As for the misguided yet tech-savvy souls that have still to experience the thing, well here's a fantastic A1200 auction. The computer comes in its original box, that might come with a broken disk drive, but it also sports two other disk drives for the buyer to install. If you are looking for an obscure PAL release for the Nintendo NES look no further than the Spanish version of Nintendo's 3-in-1 cartridge featuring Super Mario Bros., Tetris and Nintendo World Cup. Those sharp vector graphics haven't aged a day and the Vectrex remains as brilliant and difficult to properly emulate as the day it was released. I frankly can't understand why, but people seem to be rather interested in the relatively rare Hello Kitty version of the Sega Dreamcast. eBay Rampage: Nintendo Game Boy

The Game Boy was the first proper handheld system and the runaway success that kept the handheld market firmly in Nintendo's grasp for over 20 years. It was, and to this day remains, a truly portable system with a ton of lovely games specifically designed to be enjoyed on the road and also the platform that gave birth to the Pokemon phenomenon. Hagane: The Final Conflict (SNES)

The are obscure games, there are rare games and then there is Hagane: The Final Conflict for the SNES, and if you want to pay well over $500 for it, you could ACTUALLY go for this factory sealed copy of Hagane: The Final Conflict. The game, a lovely Shinobi-style action platformer, was only available at Blockbuster Video in the US and was published by Hudson Soft in 1994, but you can find out much more over at Hardcore Gaming. And An Acorn Electron...

A lovely, compact and impressively decent machine the Acorn Electron and it always had brilliantly packaged software. You can grab one for cheap pretty easily too, though this particular Acorn Electron auction is definitely worthy of your attention. Said Electron seems to be in great shape, comes with all necessary leads, a few boxed games (including the excellent Planetoid and Starship Command), more software & tapes and quite a few interesting extras.
