NIB Sega Game Gear & Accessories

Essentially a handheld version of the Master System, Sega's Game Gear was a powerful handheld with a colour screen that never really came close to competing with the Game Boy, wasn't as innovative as the Lynx, but still managed to get itself some fantastic games and has gracefully aged. The GG Shinobi (Sega Game Gear)

GG Shinobi is hands down the best scrolling fighter to ever appear on Sega's handheld and an excellent adaptation of the arcade classic that is as playable today as it was 24 years (oh, gods) ago. Crucially, this particular copy of GG Shinobi (Game Gear) currently on auction at eBay seems to have been perfectly preserved; complete and in its box. It's the Japanese version of the game, which, as you know, happily runs on consoles of all regions.

The Sega Game Gear produced by Majesco might be lacking TV Tuner support, but, other than that, most probably is the best version of the console. Sega Game Gear & 9 games

Excuse me for saying so, but the Sega Game Gear hasn't aged as gracefully as the Atari Lynx. A simple truth, I know, and one that can mainly be attributed to its lack of all those excellent arcade ports. Still, it's a lovably huge retro handheld in its own right and sports more than a few great and exclusive games, meaning that grabbing this Sega Game Gear & games might be a smart move.

Sega Master Gear Converter 2

Well, if you have a Sega Game Gear, you'll most probably be interested in this lovely Master Gear Converter 2 auction. The Sega Game Gear White, an apparently white version of Sega's 8-bit handheld, was only released in Japan and is a highly collectible rarity. Even more so when it comes in good condition, in its original box (essentially a Game Gear carrying case) and complete with a white GG TV-Tuner. We all know that Sega's Game Gear is in fact an updated and obviously handheld Master System, but that isn't really helpful. Game Gear Columns

Columns is a game that has aged remarkably well and also something that still plays brilliantly on the go. Provided you actually take your Sega Game Gear with you on the train, that is. What's more, you can nowadays grab very well priced copies of Game Gear Columns from Play-Asia.

Sega Game Gear: The Coca Cola limited edition

It's one of the best known Sega collector's items and it has just appeared on eBay for a rather hefty price, but also fully boxed, complete and in what seems like an incredibly mint condition. It is, as you might have already guessed, the complete boxed Sega Game Gear Coca Cola edition and its seller is kind (or cunning) enough to ship worldwide. And yes, the Coka Cola Kid cartridge is obviously included.

The Sega Game Gear Lot

In essence a Sega Master System with improved graphics crammed into a handheld system, the Game Gear was one of the competitors to the Game Boy throne, that, well, failed to actually compete. Still, it was successful enough to get its fair share of great games and be easy enough to track down on eBay. Prices usually start around 20 pounds, 28$ or 22 euros.
