The Heathkit ET-3400 Microprocessor Trainer that can these days be grabbed via eBay (US only) -the one you see above- is as vintage a retro home-computer as they get. It was released back in 1976, was based on the Motorola 6800 processor, and according to its creators was "designed as a learning tool to teach microprocessor operation, programming, and applications". You can find out more about it here, here and here.
