The Commodore Amiga 500+ was the final version of the 16-bit Amiga 500 home computer. It came with 1MB of RAM, sported an A520 modulator and the impressively multitasking Workbench 2.04. As for the cunningly named Cartoon Classics box set, well, it included an Amiga 500+, the classic 2D graphics programme Deluxe Paint 3, Lemmings, The Simpsons vs the Space Mutants and the rather shite Captain Planet eco-awareness game.
Happily anyone in the world can now grab an almost new Cartoon Classics Amiga over @ ebay. Just make sure you pay less than 30£/55$50 euros.

Captain Planet SHITE? If it wasn't for his sterling eco-work in the 1980s the earth would be a scorched and arrid wasteland right now with giant mutant ants and packs of 5o ft women prowling the shell like skeleton of our former sprawling urban metropolis (probably...)
ReplyDelete...damn bloody eco warrior busy body....
ReplyDeleteYes, why you're absolutely right dear father, but I was mainly refering to the shite game, not the shite captain per se. He's quite unknown over here mind you...

ReplyDeleteSounds like a dirty job and I guess someone 's got to do it. mankind thanks you oh elderly. Lovely planete, byt the way. Way too obscure Captain...
ReplyDelete...maybe if i eradiated them... like strawberries.. the expletives would last longer......
