Lynx Tournament Cyberball Artwork
What you see above is (allegedly) the original painting of Cyberball's (for the Atari Lynx) box art, and was once happily showing itself in Atari's HQ. Actually, it's the actual (heh) proof piece of artwork, it's obviously as unique as any piece of art and comes in a nice frame. Bid on it here. Seller ships worldwide.

Monkey Island 2 - Original Art
This is a) beautiful and, b) an extremely rare original piece of art created as a cover concept painting for LucasArts' Monkey Island 2: LeChuck's Revenge. This concept was one of three and was not chosen for the final painting. The painting is 7" X 10" was done in gouache (an opaque watercolor) on heavy illustration board and has been covered with acetate since it was created in 1991. This painting was included as a full page reproduction in the Rogue Leaders book and, as we all know, original artwork from LucasArts rarely, if ever, becomes available for sale. This one has been painted -and is being sold by- Steve Purcell himself.
Have a look at Steve's site (announcing the auction) here and go bid on this amazing piece of Monkey Island 2 art over at eBay. US buyers only, I'm afraid.

The Fantasy Art of Oliver Frey
The Fantasy Art of Oliver Frey is a spectacular and highly informative book, that will help everyone remember just how stunning a magazine cover could be. You do remember Crash and Zzap! 64 magazines don't you? Well, all of Mr. Frey's game related art (thus them covers too) can be found in those lovely 192 pages. The book has been out for quite some time, mind, but as I've just now gotten my copy, I couldn't help but recommend it.
