Snatcher (Sega CD)

Snatcher, the excellent though pretty easy to beat adventure for Sega's 16-bit CD-ROM add-on, has been featured quite a few times on this very blog and keeping said tradition alive I decided to let you know of a brand new Snatcher Sega CD auction. The game comes complete with manual in its original case and the seller only ships to US addresses.

  1. This is one of the games that could make me buy a Sega CD anytime... I hope I can resist.
And the decapitation screen you see everytime a site discuss the game... well, simply amazing.

  2. Mind you dear Mik, the CD will run via emulation...

  3. True, pal, but you know, I have this uncontrollable fetish for real hardware...

  4. Absolutely understandable that... You'll also need a lightgun to fully enjoy it though ;)

  5. The 'real hardware' quote reminds me I'm not alone in my strange obsessions - thanks Mik!

And lovely game selection gnome - makes me want to break out the SegaCD this weekend, though I think it'll be devoted instead to getting my MERCS arcade upright dusted off and sorted out for impending visitors. At least one machine should be usable, you know?

  6. Don't get me wring dear Charlie (and Mik) I too love original hardware, but I've come to accept the fact that I can't own all the consoles I'd love...

Oh, and best of luck getting the MERCS arcade into full working condition. Wish I'd one an arcade cabinet myself... Oh well..
