If rare Sega consoles are your prime fetish, then the Wondermega posted here must have you itching to click on this lovely Wondermega eBay auction link. Seller ships worldwide, the console seems to be in great shape and even comes with three games (Sonic CD, Night Trap and Gunstar Heroes). Oh, and in case someone hadn't heard before, the Victor produced Wondermega is a Mega CD and a MegaDrive combined into one -admittedly classy- console.
It's a beat-'em'up classic for your once innovative and still under-used Sega Mega CD. What else would you need to know? Well, a JVC X'EYE apparently. It's a pretty rare SEGA Genesis (and not Mega Drive) SEGA CD (and not Mega CD) combo console produced by JVC or, to put it another way, the American version of the Wondermega unit. Said unit retailed at roughly 500$, flopped and now, being the rarity each failed console is destined to be, usually sells for almost 200$, 100£ or 135 euros. Still, a nice obscure piece of hardware, that plays quite a few classic CD & cartridge games and is definitely more manageable than a Genesis and CD with all their cables and adapters.
This JVC X'EYE console being auctioned over at eBay, might just turn out to be quite the bargain. Happily, the seller ships worldwide. Apparently you'll also be getting two not particularly impressive CDs (a Karaoke and an Encyclopedia one) and a controller.

For the price of just one contemporary game you can get yourselves a lovely 16-bit SEGA MegaDrive console, its quirky Mega CD add-on, a selection of accessories & controllers (including a Lightgun) and nine (8 for the Sega Mega CD and a Sonic cartridge) brilliantly retro games. That's the financial beauty of retro gaming or, to be more precise, this SEGA MegaDrive, Sega CD, Accessories & 9 Games eBay bargain is the utter example of said beauty.
Under normal circumstances said lot would cost you over 65£, thus it's quite a bargain. Seller ships only to the UK (prepares catapult...).
Starting with a ridiculous low bid of less than 5£ this Sega MegaDrive, Sega Mega CD and 20 Games auction might just be the bargain of the year, though -sadly for me- only for UK residents. The games accompanying the two consoles include the rare and rather brilliant Batman Returns for the Mega CD, the classic Sonic 2 for the MegaDrive and a variety of gems from Strider, to Ecco the Dolphin, to Flashback.
