Granted, the 32X was a disastrous move by Sega and an underwhelming add-on for its 16-bit hit console, but it still is a relatively affordable retro offering with a some excellent games. Especially arcade ports. Oh, and you can buy one via this Sega 32X eBay auction. The console comes complete in its box and the seller ships worldwide.

It's far from an essential purchase for Mega Drive owners, but there were some quality titles developed for the 32X. And there were even some 32X CD titles, although they were quite possibly US only releases.
ReplyDeleteOne important thing to note is that the Mega Drive/Genesis 1 & 2 use different AV leads. The 32X uses Mega Drive 2 leads, but as you have to pass through the Mega Drive's AV output through the 32X, anyone using a Mega Drive 1 will need an adaptor lead. The action listing say it includes all the cables, but it'd be worth checking before bidding.
Thank you so much (and once again) most knowledgeable friend! A very handy tip indeed.
