If you happen to be the proud owner of a Japanese Nintendo N64, then you simply have to own the cartridge containing The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time. It's most probably the best Zelda game ever developed, reason enough to own the console and you can easily grab it via Play Asia.

I played Ocarina all the way to Ganon (though I never managed/had the patience to beat it). I must admit it's a great game, but somehow I still prefer its 2D predecessors. Obviously, if you own a N64 you just don't have excuses.
ReplyDeleteHaven't finished it either, but I must admit I really liked. Truth be said, I haven't finished any Zelda game, though I did enjoy them all. For shame...
ReplyDeleteOcarina of Time is quite simply, a ubiquitous, genre-defining title that every gamer should have. And if you don't have an N64, you can always pick up the Gamecube release that was bundled with The Wind Waker. Or there's the Virtual Console release on the Wii. And of course, it's about to go mobile with a 3DS makeover (though for my money, the N64 version is better - all dark and moody). You've gotta finish it Gnome. You know you won't sleep well till you do.
ReplyDeleteOh my, the pressure... Let alone the sleepless nights. I guess I'll finish it though. Probably and for convenience sake on the Wii, unless I get absolutely mad and buy me 3DS.
