STOS: The Game Creator was a truly affordable game creation suite by Mandarin Software, that allowed the average Atari ST user to produce (and publish) almost any kind of game he/she cared to via a selection of smart tools, fine documentation and a BASIC-like language. You can grab a complete, boxed version of STOS via this eBay auction. Seller ships only within the UK.

Shoot-'em-up Construction Kit
Sensible Software was a truly great development house that has given us, beyond such timeless gems as Sensible Soccer and Cannon Fodder, the rather excellent Shoot-'em-up Construction Kit. The first authoring tool that let gamers create impressive shmups without knowing how to code. It was of course a hit, that still has its very own vibrant community. You can join the fun by bidding on this boxed copy of the Commodore 64 version of Shoot-'em-up Construction Kit. Seller ships worldwide.

STOS: The Game Creator
Yes, amazingly, this is the second Atari ST post in a row, but you'll have to excuse me, as STOS: The Game Creator was a ground-breaking piece of software. It was a powerful, easy to use and incredibly versatile game authoring tool; one of the first of its kind too. You can bid on a complete, boxed copy of STOS right here. Seller ships worldwide.

The Laffer Utilities
I remember buying this one ages ago and simply knowing it was the most obscure Leisure Suit Larry offering I'd ever own. Not incredibly rare mind, just obscure, as The Laffer Utilities (version 4.01, no less) was published by Sierra and was nothing more than a lovely collection of DOS-based anti-productivity utilities packed in a brilliant little box. Interestingly, Amazon got a copy. Grab it!
