Mystery House for the Apple ][

Mystery House Apple IIIf this Mystery House (Apple II) eBay auction isn't some kind of fraud -and let's face it, it does look pretty legitimate- then retro gamers and lovers of classic adventure games worldwide will have a chance to own a piece of gaming history. Mystery House, you see, released in 1980, was the first game On-Line Systems developed before it eventually evolved into Sierra, the first adventure designed by Roberta Williams and quite possibly the first adventure game ever to feature graphics. It also is quite a rarity, and should you decide not to bid on the thing -it wont be cheap- you can freely play it online

  1. Fascinating! Can't wait to see how high the bidding goes - definitely a great piece of history.

  2. I think it will go up to 200$; at least. Anything less would be a bargain. The game also is pretty funny, though not particularly good.

  3. Hmm, in the grand scheme of things I generally will accept funny over good!

  4. A wise choice. Though it *is* funny in a most unintentional way...
