The Amiga 1000 was an impressive power-house, the Amiga 500 the finest and probably most successful 16-bit home computer ever, the 2000 was a professional's dream and the Amiga 1200 the last home computer to stand against the onslaught of PCs and consoles. Oh, yes, and the Amiga was the European games machine of choice too. Prices for the average Amiga 500 start at 20£, 38$ or 25 euros. The 1200 goes for a bit more and so do the Commodore consoles.
