Todd's Adventures in Slime World is a truly fantastic game. One of the very best to ever appear on the Atari Lynx. It is huge, smart, unique and visually stunning. Interestingly though, this post is not about the game itself, but its much rarer prototype which seems to have just surfaced on eBay. You can bid on it via this Slime World Prototype auction. Seller ships worldwide.
The prototype, an employees-only demo apparently, is a cartridge that wasn't supposed to be sold and sports quite a few interesting differences when compared to the final product. The game, among other stuff, keeps dropping four players in each level, allows you to, uhm, try again and restore, has certain graphical differences and a totally different title screen.
