Boxed Sega Master System

If you've been looking for a boxed, complete and fully working Mark I Sega Master System in excellent condition, well, this Sega Master System auction is definitely one for you. The console is almost new and in a complete and impressively preserved boxed, that includes everything from the manual and the lightgun to the two-games cartridge and some retro advertising material. Seller ships worldwide.

  1. Looks lovely! I really like my SMS. Much of it's library is ports from the MSX, and it's the only way that people who don't speak Japanese can play many of those games. Some of my favorite games from the SMS are Y's (of course), Fantasy Zone, and Spell Caster (a strange mix of platforming and point and click adventure game).

This is a great collectors set, but $102 seems a bit steep, I was able to get a complete system (no box or games) for $6 a few years ago.

  2. Hmm and now that I think of it, I didn't get a Zapper either. Ahh well...

  3. Thanks a ton for taking the time to commect Raphael. Besides, I never really realized the MSX-SMS connection, and it does indeed make sense. Mind you, I've always loved my SMS. Even tried running a dedicated blog for some time over at http://segams.blogspot.com/

Oh, and the price still looks decent. The mark I is after all relatively rarer than the mark ii, and this particular box in good condition is definitely worth quite a bit.
