I know, I just know, that Retro Treasures readers that couldn't bid on the previous Osborne 1 computer (it was a US only thing), will be overjoyed to learn that this equally impressive Osborne 1 portable computer can be shipped worldwide. It seems to be in great shape and of course working condition, comes complete with its 763-page manual, and even sports quite a bit of software on those classic, properly floppy, floppies.

I recently bought a Laptop and the instruction manual was one piece of paper that folded out lol.

You were apparently robbed dear BRIK. Any manual less than 500 pages is a disgrace and any monitor over 12" overkill!

ReplyDeleteThat would be a lovely idea. Actually I'll soon start a new feature detailing hardware. As for the Osborne, well, it could play some pretty simple graphical and text-based games.
