The Atari Lynx may not have been a commercial success, but still managed to attract a cult following that is keeping the machine alive even in our DS/PSP infested day. The Lynx also managed to be the most powerful handheld available for something like 10 years and featured many interesting innovations, some excellent games and a fantastic colour LCD display. Average Lynx prices start at 20£, 40$ or 25 euros.

I am still looking for that Dracula game.
ReplyDeleteMuaahahaha! I remember the commercial where all the Lynx game characters were talking about how they all loved the Lnyx and some green pacman character popped up and said "I like Gameboy".
Maybe I will pull that badboy out for some Gauntlet tonight.
Ah, yes, Lynx Gauntlet. How very impressive it was, but, and accepting the emulators are anything to judge by, Dracula seems even more stunning. And it's a proper adventure too!
