If it weren't for the hideous conspiracy of baked bean sellers the 32-bit home computing beast that was the Amiga 1200 would have been as huge a success as her older Amiga 500 sister. The Amiga 1200 had a brand new powerful graphics chip, a 32-bit 68020 processor, a better OS and a smart price tag, but apparently never sold good enough to save Commodore. Despite the brilliant new games and being backward compatible in a way the PS3 will never be.
Now, provided you live in the UK, you can get a boxed Amiga 1200 with 11 fantastic boxed games including: Frontier Elite II, Power Monger, Mortal Kombat and Theme Park. Have a look at this (probable) bargain:
