Deus Ex Machina (ZX Spectrum)

Another long break is over and Retro Treasures is back and ready to entertain you the old-fashioned, vintage-collecting, money-spending way. Or, well, something like that.

Anyway, and to get you spending right-away, here's a really rare copy of the amazing Deus Ex Machina by Automata for the ZX Spectrum. The game comes complete (yes, poster and all) in its box and remains as interesting an interactive audio-visual experience as ever. Seller ships to N. and S. America, Europe, Asia and Australia.

  1. Welcome back!
How bizarre... this game actually has a wonderful soundtrack, but you have to syncronize it manually rewinding the second tape... reminds me of the first Odissey, where you played games with dice, overlays, pencil and paper...and strangely, it seems to add a grade of involvement to the experience.

    1. Lovely being nack and cheers my friend!

And, yes, the synchronized voice-over does provide with a lot of Deus Ex Machina's charm indeed.. BTW, have you heard of its forthcoming remake?

  2. Never heard of that! I guess new technology can provide a more intense and psychedelic experience, though I'm afraid that it may lost part of the original charm...
