Unused consoles from 1979 are neither common nor particularly cheap, as is the deal with this shiny boxed Intellivision that showed up on eBay. Better hurry up though. Oh, and seller ships only to USA addresses.

Nice! I found one locally at a thrift shop in similar condition, practically brand new. Box was kinda beat tho. I couldn't find the RF cable for it, so the girl gave to me for 5 bucks, true story!
ReplyDeleteWow, that went high. It doesn't really even look unused, the disc on the controller shows a little wear, as do the labels on the bottom. I just checked mine, and they are pristine. I should probably put this thing back in the box and find one more suitable for playing with. :)thaks for all the cool posts!
ReplyDeleteThanks for the kind words and for that story of incredible Intellivision luck. I really wouldn't sell it mind.
ReplyDeleteNo problem, I've been enjoying the blog, glad I found it. I admittedly haven't played it as much as I should, but it's kept in plain sight just cause she's so pretty.

She's pretty alright, but not the only pretty one you got laying around. The Vectrex is fantastic and let's just pretend I didn't see the Neo Geo. Oh dear...
ReplyDeleteHaha.. Thanks. It does get ugly towards the bottom of the shelf, theres a CD-i lurking down there with a 5200 on top of it, you can see em trying to get in on the group pic.

Awww, group hug!
ReplyDeleteCan't say I'm not fond of the CD-i, but I do prefer that Mark I Master System. Always had to settle for the second version.
