If you've been looking for an Amiga 1200 to use and abuse as the ultimate 16-bit (ach, sorry about that) 32-bit games machine, I suggest you look no further than this Amiga 1200 Comic Relief eBay auction. The computer comes in its nostalgic Comic Relief Pack box, the Sleepwalker game, a joystick, some disks and a mouse. Importantly, this Amiga has been upgraded to sport 6MB of RAM and a 4GB flash HDD with WHDLOAD installed. It also comes with an RCA lead and power supply.
Seller ships only within the UK and you've got roughly 8 hours (at the time of posting) to bid on this.
"16-bit games machine"? Really? Do you even know what you are talking about? The Commodore Amiga 1200 is, just like its sibblings, a 32-bit personal computer running the pre-emptive multitasking operating system AmigaOS. There isn't a single Amiga system out there that is anything less than a 32-bit platform. Get your facts straight, please!
ReplyDeleteYou are right. I got mixed up and was thinking of the A500. On the other hand, seriously? Is this your best level of behaviour? Have you ever tried politeness?
DeleteOh, and just to make sure, you do know that the A1000 and A500 are 16-bit machines, right?
