Truth be said, you could easily grab a cheaper
Amiga 1200 than the one pictured above, though you'd still be missing out on quite a bargain. This setup, you see, is almost as powerful as retro machines go, as it includes an extra disk drive, a CD-ROM drive, a fully working hard disk and -impressively- the rare
Microbotics M1230XA accelerator with its shiny 68030 processor. What's more, all necessary leads, the PSU, a decent selection of books and manuals, a joystick, a mouse and a ton of software (
on CDs, FDDs and the HDD) have been happily thrown in. Grab it via this
expanded Amiga 1200 eBay auction. UK only bidders I'm afraid.
No monitor, No way!!
ReplyDeleteEven tho the monitor would double the price in just shipping alone...
Gnome is this you in this video!?!?!???

Well, yes... But I was young back then... Oh, and any monitor should work with an Amiga. I am using an Atari one!
ReplyDeleteIt looked more like that sellout "david the gnome" trying to make some headlines and get his show back on air.
ReplyDeleteDang that computer is impressive!
Indeed dear Caleb. very impressive. And to think that my Amiga only comes with its original one drive. Can't find the accelerator card on its own either...
ReplyDeleteYou must have a room set aside for all this older stuff... I mean it probably takes up some space..?
ReplyDeleteThat's what cupboards are for, as frankly they are much easier to get than extra rooms. Hah!
ReplyDeleteIndeed!
