As far as officially licensed Nintendo NES games go The Flintstones: Surprise at Dino Peak is one of the rarest. Maybe even the second rarest as it was only available for rent towards the end of the NES life cycle, but you do know how these things change. Now, as is customary, price is directly analogous to rarity and I suppose one could easily pay over $1000 for this complete, boxed copy of The Flintstones: Surprise at Dino Peak (NES). Place your bids and know that the seller only ships to Canada and the US.
I picked up this game off ebay last year with only cart and sleave and it cost me $550. I was looking at the trends and it seems to continually climb every year.
ReplyDeleteThanks for the info Scott. Mind you, this seems to be a general trend. As rare things get rarer, their prices reach ridiculous levels.
