Created by Tim Schafer, awarded the Best Adventure of all time title by the venerable Adventure Gamers website and expanding (including too!) the innovative classic that was Ron Gilbert's Maniac Mansion, Day of the Tentacle is a rare top-class point-and-clicker. It's funny, beautiful, smart, quite difficult and features some decidedly silly time travelling. Grab yourselves a decently priced (used) boxed copy of DOTT @ Amazon.com. Oh, and to play it, better have a look at ScummVM or this handy retro PC gaming guide.
