Wing Commander Privateer was the first game to successfully evolve the Elite formula, even though lacking in the gazillions of procedurally generated planets. It also turned out to be a truly shining example of what quality PC games can achieve. And what a luxuriant box, eh? Anyway. Grab Wing Commander Privateer via eBay. Seller ships worldwide and has apparently also included the Righteous Fire expansion.
Failing to get yourselves a copy, you might want to try this freeware and quite frankly impressive Privateer remake: Gemini Gold. Oh, and this might be a pretty informative link too.

The beauty of the Sharp X68000
The Sharp X68000 was released in Japan back in (not-so-distant) 1994 and was not unlike a vastly upgraded Amiga 500 housed in a fantastic twin tower case. It sported a faster version of Motorla's 68000 processor, custom scaling and parallax scrolling chips, high-res, high-colour graphics, ample RAM, impressive sound capabilities and a great selection of arcade-ports like Parodious, Space Harrier and Castlevania Chronicles. Oh, and it provide a loving home for quite a few sexy little offerings too.
Find out more here, try an emulated X68000 by following this link or, better yet, have a look at this boxed Sharp X68000 XVI eBay auction. It's the 16Mhz version, mind, and it does come with a shiny keyboard and one game (Salamander). Seller ships worldwide and X68000 prices usually start at 160$, 85£ or 110 euros.

A spiffy Sinclair ZX Spectrum +3 by Amstrad
The last of the Spectrums and a glorious 8-bit machine, the Spectrum +3 was Amstrad's final attempt in keeping the Speccy alive by adding a lovely 3" disk drive to the already impressive Spectrum +2. Usually the average Spectrum +3 costs 40-50£ meaning that this auction of a boxed Sinclair Spectrum +3 in top condition is worth looking into. After all, this is not your average +3, as the computer has been completely overhauled, cleaned and restored to a very high level, all worn parts have been replaced (including the drive belt), and the read/write head has been aligned and calibrated professionally.

The Sinclair ZX Spectrum 128
The ZX Spectrum 128 (a.k.a. Spectrum 128k), named so for its impressive 128k of RAM, was the last Spectrum that was produced under the watchful eye of Sir Clive. Extra RAM aside, the machine came with a Spectrum+ type keyboard, an updated ROM, an almost proper three channel sound-chip, the option to use a monitor and a very impressive -almost legendary- heat-sink. Find out more about the Spectrum 128 here and here.

The Entex Arcade Defender
Based on Eugene Jarvis' classic Defender, the Entex Arcade Defender handheld was released back in 1982 and still is a brilliantly playable and addictive handheld shoot-'em-up. It's fast, it's frantic, sports a ton of buttons (including those needed to enter hyperspace, change your ship's direction and throw a smart-bomb), two skill levels, impressive sound and is rather decent to look at too. Here's a bit more info on the thing.
Happily, you -yes, you, oh retro loving reader- can actually grab an Entex Arcade Defender handheld game via a lovely eBay auction. Seller ships worldwide. The unit seems to be in great condition and comes in its original box complete with manual.

More Sega Saturn goodness
We all love Sega's accessories and so we must all thank heroic Retro Treasures reader g.d. for directing us to the rather fab Sega Virtua Stick and the equally iconic (and of course fab) Sega Virtua Gun. They both are for the Saturn of course and looking at the pictures should provide you with all the info you'd ever need. Prices seem very reasonable too.

Timothy Leary's Mind Mirror (C64/128)

Space Invaders Deluxe Arcade Cabinet
Just look at it. It's video gaming history in its most beautiful. It also is the original arcade cabinet of Space Invaders Deluxe from 1980, and you can actually have it shipped over to your place for a (relatively) modest price. Provided you're a US resident and Space Invaders fan, that is. Find out more about this dedicated cabinet here and try to grab one via this Space Invaders Deluxe Video Arcade Game eBay auction. Shouldn't be ridiculously expensive either.
